Dear Mr. Da Costa,
I received one box with shades and a lamp yesterday. The lamp looks
gorgeous, everyone in my
family likes it. I can tell you that this time the shades were packed
well. I hope the other
lamp comes today.
Thank you for your art,
L.O. PA 18966 USA

am very happy with it.

Armindo,
I received the
lamps today. They are beautiful. I assume the fixture inside
the lamp was not included
as I need to replace that with a US fixture. Correct?
Thanks again for taking the time to find the glass.

Although it takes a little effort to re-fit your lamps, we have found it
well worth the trouble. Your lamps have made a beautiful addition to our
old house. We still like to admire them -- and so do our guests!

Julie,
I'm happy to help! Armindo's lamp are beautiful, aren't they? We put
them in our 1907 Craftsman Four-square. Our guests
always comment on them. There are no problems adapting Armindo's fixtures to US wiring. I
elected to replace some 14 mm base sockets with US-standard medium base
sockets where possible. (These are the ones that fit our most common
type of bulbs.) These sockets are readily available at any hardware
store, Home Depot, etc.On the table lamps that we have, and the sockets that have the pretty
little flower-shaped shades I used little adapters to change from the 14
mm to the standard US candelabra base. You can get these at
http://www.bulbman.com/contact_main.html. The adapters look like little
springs that screw over the base of the bulb.It is pretty easy to do all of this - - so don't be daunted by my
description. You or your electrician can make the changes easily.

Dear Armindo
We are very pleased with the new lamp. The lamp really is beautiful.
I especially like the fact that it is unique and something I would be
handpressed to find in any local shop.
