How
to choose in relation to the boiler capacity? How
much do you need (?), considering not the full load but the useful
load.
In other words, fill the pot with 2/3 only.
How to heat? Flame is the best (picture kindly sent from a Customer in California below) by propane or oak fire, propane recommended to easier control, but electric plaque is also fine. What is the best to distill herbs - essential oils? To all herbs that cannot be in touch with the water, only a steamer can be recommended. The alembic column pot still is the one. Herbs or flowers are placed inside the copper column and have no contact with the 2/3 of water in the boiler.
